Since 2005, we have provided 35 grants to schools in eighteen West Virginia counties to help increase physical activity opportunities and environments for students, staff and families. Funded by the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation and WVU Children's Hospital Foundation, we carefully select projects that create changes not only within a school but also have the vision and support to involve families and community.
The highlighted counties below have received Schools on the Move grants since 2005. All counties are eligible.
