The 2012 Communities on the Move! (COM) Grant Program from West Virginia on the Move (WVOM) offered funding opportunities for a minimum of $3,000 and up to a maximum of $5,000 per grant. COM Grants are intended to promote community-based social support interventions to increase physical activity opportunities in West Virginia communities.

Mineral County Family Resource Network Keyser on the Move Mineral
Targeting rural women to increase physical activity levels by creating walking groups, marking walking routes and incorporating social media.
Ohio County FRN Moms on the Move Ohio
Increase physical activity levels of mothers with young children through existing support groups.
Robert C Byrd Clinic Greenbrier County on the Move Greenbrier
Increasing physical activity of county residents by promoting local low-cost indoor and outdoor activities.
Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital Lewis County on the Move Lewis
Increase physical activity levels of residents by creating competitive walking teams through local organizations, churches or businesses.
